Q: What age do you need to be to train at Star Fitness?

A: Members must be 13 years or over to train @ the Club. If you are between the ages of 13 and 16 years, a parent or guardian will be required to assist you to complete the membership forms and may be asked to sign on your behalf.


Q: Does Star Fitness have a student discount?

A: Yes, we certainly do. Membership rates are reduced for any High School or University Student. You will be required to show your current student identification card upon joining to be eligible.


Q: Can I suspend my Membership?

A: Absolutely. Star Fitness allows all Members the privilege to suspend their membership for a small service fee. Suspensions for Medical reasons will be complimentary if a Medical Certificate is provided. Simply complete the form @ reception and our friendly Staff will process it immediately for you.


Q: When can I cancel my Membership?

A: Of course we would prefer that you didn’t cancel your membership, however we do understand that circumstances change. Once you have completed the minimum term of your agreement, you need only give 28 days’ notice and your membership will be cancelled for you.

If you need to cancel your membership and have not completed the minimum term, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of $300.


Q: How do I cancel my membership?

A: All cancellations requests must be made at the Club by filling out the appropriate paper work and will be processed immediately by our friendly receptionist.


Q: What is a minimum term?

A: A minimum term is the shortest duration of your membership. This is usually a 6 month or 12 month commitment, which is agreed to by you at point of sale.


Q: Can I bring a friend to Star Fitness?

A: Absolutely…A friend of yours is a friend of ours. Star Fitness welcomes guests; in fact we would like to invite all your friends down for a free trial.


Q: What should I bring to the gym?

A: A sweat towel to wipe down the equipment after you use it and a water bottle to ensure you’re always hydrated…and your friend to work out with you.


Q: When is the quietest time to visit Star Fitness?

A: On weekdays the club is generally busiest before work, at lunchtime and after work. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere pay a visit just after lunch or in the early afternoon.


Q: What happens if I lose something in the Change Rooms?

A: Let reception know as soon as possible so we can check if someone’s handed it in. However, we can’t be held responsible for mislaid items.


Q: What happens if I lose my Membership Tag?

A: Don’t worry. Let reception know as soon as possible, and they will issue you with a new one at a nominal fee.


Q: How do I leave feedback?

A: We welcome your feedback and we want to hear about ways we can assist you with any concerns you may have. If you have a complaint, please have a chat with one of our club staff.
